Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of hisoft.pk. Work we carry out for a client is governed by the signed proposal for that project; where the two differ, the signed proposal wins.

Using this website

You may read, print and share anything published here. You may not copy the site's text or design wholesale to publish as your own, and you may not attempt to break into, overload or probe the site.

Quotes and estimates

Prices shown as "on request" are exactly that: we quote per project, because a hospital system for one branch and one for nine branches are not the same job. A quote is fixed once you approve it in writing, and it stays valid for thirty days.

Ownership of work

When a project is paid for in full, the client owns the custom source code we wrote for them. We keep ownership of our own pre-existing libraries and of our SaaS products, which are licensed rather than sold. We reserve the right to describe the work in our portfolio unless the contract says otherwise.

Our SaaS products

Products such as the Hospital Management System are licensed for the term you pay for. We host, patch and support them. Your data in those systems remains yours and can be exported on request.

What we do not promise

We do not promise that this website will never be offline, that search rankings will reach a particular position, or that a piece of software will be free of every defect. We do promise to fix what we broke.

Limits

Where the law allows it, our liability for any project is limited to the fees paid for that project. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have jurisdiction.

Changes

We update these terms occasionally. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
