Expand Your Business in Pakistan: HISOFT Opens Its Partner and Reseller Programme

Pakistan is one of the largest digital markets that most software companies have not entered yet. HISOFT, a Lahore software house that has been building and supporting software for Pakistani businesses since 2011, is opening a partner programme for international and regional companies that want to sell their software, SaaS platforms and digital products here, without opening an office of their own.

Whether you are looking for a reseller in Pakistan, a distributor for the whole country, a white label partner or a team to implement and support your product locally, we would like to hear from you.

Why Pakistan, and why now

  • A connected market. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority reports more than 200 million telecom subscribers and around 150 million broadband users, most of them on 3G and 4G mobile.
  • Payments that already work online. According to the State Bank of Pakistan, 88% of retail transactions in the 2024-25 fiscal year were made electronically, and Raast, the national instant payment system, handled more than a billion transactions in that year alone.
  • Businesses ready to go digital. Pakistan has an estimated 3 million small and medium enterprises. Many still run on paper registers, spreadsheets or old desktop software, and industry estimates suggest fewer than a third use cloud services beyond email and storage. That gap is the opportunity.
  • A fast-growing technology economy. Pakistan's IT exports reached a record of about US$4.5 billion in 2025-26, and the government's target is US$10 billion by 2029. The result is a growing pool of technical buyers, decision makers and talent who understand what good software is worth.

Why a local partner works better than going it alone

Companies that try to sell into Pakistan from abroad usually meet the same four obstacles:

  • Payment friction. Many Pakistani businesses find it hard to pay a foreign invoice in dollars by card or international transfer, and bank limits on cross-border payments slow deals down. Customers prefer to pay in rupees by bank transfer, Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa.
  • Trust and after-sales service. Buyers want a local company they can call, a demo in their own office, a contract under Pakistani law and support in their own time zone and language.
  • Setting up takes time. A foreign company needs permission from the Board of Investment before it can register a branch or liaison office with the SECP, and neither type of office may carry out commercial trading. Selling directly means incorporating a local company first.
  • Price-sensitive buyers. Price is usually the deciding factor in Pakistan, so packaging, local pricing and payment terms matter as much as the product itself.

A local partner removes all four. You keep your product, your brand and your pricing policy; we handle the market.

Ways to partner with HISOFT

1. Reseller partnership

We become your authorised reseller in Pakistan. We buy licences or subscriptions at partner pricing and sell them to Pakistani businesses under your brand, invoicing customers in rupees and collecting payment locally. You receive one payment from one partner instead of chasing hundreds of small accounts.

2. Distribution partnership

For products that need wide reach, HISOFT acts as your distributor in Pakistan: we recruit, train and manage a network of sub-resellers and dealers in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and other cities, and give you a single view of the whole channel.

3. Referral and agency partnership

The lightest way to start. We introduce qualified customers, you sell and bill them directly, and we earn a commission on each closed deal. Useful for testing demand before a wider launch.

4. White label partnership

Your platform sold under a local brand, or our own SaaS products sold under yours. White label software lets both sides enter a market quickly without building from scratch, and it works in both directions: HISOFT's platforms are also available to partners outside Pakistan.

5. Implementation and localisation partnership

Many products sell well only when someone installs, configures and supports them. Our team handles setup, data migration, training in English and Urdu, Urdu translation of interfaces and documents, and integration with local banks, payment methods, SMS gateways and accounting practices.

6. Joint venture and co-development

For larger opportunities we can build a Pakistan edition of your product together, share development and revenue, and take it to market as a joint venture.

What HISOFT brings to the partnership

  • Fifteen years in the local market. An in-house team of business analysts, project managers, developers, network and database administrators and support staff, based in Lahore since 2011.
  • Experience selling our own software. We run six SaaS platforms in production, covering hospital management, medical laboratories, journal management, financial management, sourcing and network marketing. We know how Pakistani businesses evaluate, buy, adopt and renew software, because we do it every day.
  • Sales and pre-sales. Product demos, proposals, pricing in rupees, and responses to corporate and government tenders.
  • Local billing and collection. Rupee invoices, local payment methods and a single settlement to you.
  • Support in Pakistan Standard Time. First-line support in English and Urdu, with clear escalation to your team for anything that needs the product owner.
  • Marketing that fits the market. A localised product page, search engine optimisation for Pakistani searches, social media and WhatsApp, where most business conversations in Pakistan take place.

Products we are looking for

We are especially interested in partnering with companies that offer:

  • ERP, accounting, inventory and point-of-sale software
  • CRM, HR and payroll, and project management tools
  • Healthcare, laboratory, pharmacy and education platforms
  • Cybersecurity, backup and data protection
  • AI tools, chatbots and business automation
  • Cloud, hosting, communication and developer tools
  • Digital products such as courses, templates and plugins
  • Technology hardware such as storage and networking, alongside our existing wholesale storage devices range

If your product is not on this list, tell us about it anyway. The best partnerships often come from products nobody has brought to Pakistan yet.

How the partnership works

  1. Introduction. Send us a short note about your product, your pricing and the markets you already serve.
  2. Market fit review. We look at demand, competitors and price points in Pakistan and tell you honestly whether the product fits, and which partnership model suits it best.
  3. Agreement. A non-disclosure agreement first, then a partner agreement that sets out territory, margins or commission, exclusivity, support responsibilities and protection of your intellectual property.
  4. Launch. Product training for our team, local pricing, a demo environment and a launch campaign.
  5. Growth. Monthly reports on pipeline and sales, and quarterly reviews to agree on the next targets.

Questions we hear often

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to register a company in Pakistan?

No. You contract with HISOFT, and we contract with, invoice and support customers locally. You can still set up your own presence later if the market grows large enough.

Can customers pay in Pakistani rupees?

Yes. Customers pay HISOFT in rupees through the payment methods they already use, and we settle with you as agreed in the partner agreement.

Is exclusivity available?

Yes, for a city, a region or the whole country, normally linked to agreed sales targets.

How is our intellectual property protected?

Every partnership starts with a non-disclosure agreement and is governed by a written partner agreement. You keep full ownership of your product, brand and source code, and licence keys remain under your control.

Is HISOFT looking for partners outside Pakistan for its own products?

Yes. Our SaaS products are available to resellers and white label partners abroad, so a partnership can work in both directions.

What does it cost to start?

Nothing. There is no fee to start a conversation or to have your product reviewed for the Pakistani market.
